The Nano-Cybernetic Biotrek research group is developing extremely miniaturized micro-nano-devices that probe and electrically modulate our biological system especially the brain. We are seeking postdocs who will configure and implement these devices for brain/spinal cord stimulation and recording in healthy mice/rats as well as models of neurological diseases such a Neuropathic Pain, Alzheimer's, Traumatic Brain Injury and Stroke, etc.

Qualification
| Academic Qualification |
|---|
| PhD in bioengineering, neuroscience, chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science, mechanical/ electrical/electronics engineering, physics, or relevant field; |
| Experience with Neuropathic Pain, Alzheimer's, Traumatic Brain Injury or Stroke; |
| Experience with mouse surgery, stereotactic injections and implanting electrodes or fiber photometry; |
| Experience in stimulation and/or recording from mice/rats brain; |
| Experience in validation of stimulation and/or recording; |
| Experience with testing animal behavior; |
| Experience with cultured cells. |
Preferred
| Preferred Candidate |

| Experience with stem cells, 3D cultures and organoids; |
| Experience with tumor models; |
| Experience with isolation and preparation of primary cultured neurons; |
| Experience with recording or stimulation in PNS. |
