Madhav Institute of Technology & Science (MITS), Gwalior was established in 1957 by His Highness Sir Jiwaji Rao Scindia, Maharaja, of the erstwhile state of Gwalior under open door policy of Govt. of India. The foundation stone of the institute was laid by the then President Dr. Rajendra Prasad, on 20th October, 1956 and the building was inaugurated by President Dr. S. Radhakrishnan on 11th December, 1964. On the occasion of Golden Jubilee Celebrations of the institute, the president of India, Dr. Pratibha Devi Singh Patil graced the Golden Jubilee Celebrations of the institute as Chief Guest on 30th June, 2008. A postal stamp on MITS was also released on this occasion.
Post Description: Application are invited for regular position of Assistant Professor/Associate Professor in the Institute. Eligible candidate are required to submit the application in prescribed Performa available on the Institute website along with required processing fee and testimonials on or before 04:00 pm on 25-11-2023 to the office of Director, MITS Gwalior.

- However, in case of unavailability of sufficient number of applications in particular cadre/department, Institute has reserved the right to cancel the advertisement and Application fee will be refunded to the candidates through RTGS/NEFT mode.
How to Apply
- Candidate has to apply through offline mode as prescribed on Institute website.
- Candidates applying for more than one post or more than one Discipline/Branch shall be required to submit separate application forms along with required processing fee for each post in the prescribed manner.
- Written test/Interviews for shortlisted candidates: The schedule of written test/Interview will be notified on Institute website along with the list of shortlisted candidates invited for Personal/Technical interview. No individual communication will be done to the candidates. No request for postponement of the date of interview/Online Interview would be entertained.
